Discover a fascinating world in the heart of the mountain within a unique atmosphere – a fortress hidden beneath the Alps.
Built between 1940 and 1943, and modernized and adapted for a potential nuclear conflict during the Cold War, the structure was used by the Swiss army until 1998. More than 600 meters of galleries are carved into the mountain. Completely invisible from the outside, the fort was able to house 300 men.
From June 11 to August 10, the fort will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, including guided tours at 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in French and English.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour in front of the fort’s entrance.
Private group tours are available upon request, subject to guide availability.
