Discover a fascinating world in the heart of the mountain within a unique atmosphere – a fortress hidden beneath the Alps.
Built between 1940 and 1943, and modernized and adapted for a potential nuclear conflict during the Cold War, the structure was used by the Swiss army until 1998. More than 600 meters of galleries are carved into the mountain. Completely invisible from the outside, the fort was able to house 300 men.
During winter, tours of the fort take place every Saturday at 5.30pm from 27 December 2025 to 25 April 2026 inclusive.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts at the fort entrance.

The temperature inside the Fort is between 10 and 12°C. Please bring warm clothing and sturdy shoes.
